East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust (ESHT) successfully go-live with Nervecentre’s Hospital at Night solution.

East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust has now switched to a real-time based Hospital at Night solution provided by Nervecentre Software. The successful deployment will allow increased patient safety benefits and optimised task management across the hospital sites.

The Hospital at Night deployment is the latest digital strategy development for the Trust having already deployed Nervecentre’s Emergency Department software solution, fluid balance and electronic observations across their 5 hospital sites.

Nervecentre’s Hospital at Night solution is an electronic task management platform that provides visibility of the tasks requested and completed, their urgency and the staff available to complete them in real-time, right across the hospital. It can be adapted to suit workflows and processes in individual trusts.

During out of hours at ESHT, Ward nurses requiring support enter a request onto the online software. Hospital at Night co-ordinators receives the request electronically via a PC or tablet, triage for urgency and skill required and assign the task to the relevant doctor, nurse or technician within seconds.
