MESH API certification Nervecentre Software

Nervecentre has been awarded certification for using the MESH API service by NHS Digital.

The Message Exchange for Social Care and Health (MESH) is a messaging service provided by NHS Digital. It’s a secure service for transferring large files between health and social care organisations; Nervecentre uses MESH to send letters to patients’ GPs.

The MESH API allows Nervecentre software to communicate directly with MESH, introducing several benefits, including:

  • enabling MESH processing to run on multiple servers with automatic failover
  • providing greater control over sending and receiving messages
  • recording GPs’ replies to letters in Nervecentre

The MESH API is available from version 7.1 of Nervecentre onwards.
