Nervecentre demonstrate iPhone integration, electronic observations and eHandover at EHI Live 2012
Nervecentre’s Debbie Guy, a leading authority on Out of Hours Processes in Acute Hospitals, presented at EHI Live 2012 on how Nervecentre improved clinical safety and patient flow at Nottingham University Hospitals.
Debbie Guy who led the transformation of Nottingham’s Hospital at Night project, discussed the benefits realised by NUH including a 70% reduction in clinical incidents and a 12% reduction in average length of stay, before going on to discuss how the Nervecentre solution is evolving beyond Hospital at Night.
Nervecentre demonstrated how a Hospital at Night implementation leads naturally into governance around handover, and how Nervecentre’s innovative approach to eHandover synchronises handover information between web pages and mobile devices.
Paul Volkaerts, Managing Director of Nervecentre was delighted by the interest that EHI Live generated. “People are realising that they can implement Nervecentre quickly and easily and make a quick improvement to their Hospital At Night services, and at the same time building a foundation technology that can be leveraged in eHandover, Observations and Patient Flow. We really want to thank our partners BT for supporting us during the show on their excellent stand”.
