Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome members of the Nervecentre EPR community to Leeds for our User Forum, a day dedicated to shared learning, honest conversation and collective ambition for the future of digital healthcare.
The forum brought together digital leaders, clinicians and transformation teams from across the NHS to explore what’s possible when technology is shaped in true partnership with those delivering care.
Innovation shaped by real-world practice
Throughout the day, attendees saw live demonstrations of some of the latest developments across the Nervecentre platform, including ambient AI, Patientcentre, optimisation opportunities and SaaS-enabled data sharing. These sessions highlighted how modern, cloud-based EPRs can support more connected, efficient and responsive care.
Alongside this, we heard first-hand customer success stories that brought these capabilities to life, grounded in the realities of NHS delivery and local priorities.
Honest insights from NHS digital leaders
A standout moment of the day was our PAS panel session, featuring open and candid PAS deployment reflections from digital leaders at Leicester and Nottingham. Their discussion covered the realities of transformation, from scope and timescales to challenges and lessons learned, offering valuable insight for organisations at different stages of their EPR journey.
We also heard how Nottingham University Hospitals will use Nervecentre to support the implementation of Martha’s Rule. This was a powerful example of how digitisation can play a direct role in enabling safer, more responsive care for patients.
Looking ahead together
The forum was also an opportunity to share updates on Nervecentre’s continued growth and future direction, reinforcing our long-term commitment to the NHS and to building a strong, connected user community.
If one theme ran consistently throughout the day, it was collaboration. The openness, generosity and willingness to share experiences, both successes and challenges, is what makes the Nervecentre community so special, and why events like this are so valuable.
