The HSJ Digital Awards, held on the 26th June in Birmingham, celebrate the power of digital initiatives to transform patient care, improve access to services, and deliver more efficient, equitable healthcare.
This year, two digital initiatives powered by Nervecentre’s EPR impressed the judges with their innovation and scalability.
University Hospitals of Leicester won the Digital Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Award for their check-in kiosks, which combine multilingual accessibility with smart Nervecentre technology. This winning initiative was recognised for ‘fundamentally transforming the patient journey’.
Nottingham University Hospitals were runners-up in the Connecting Health and Social Care Through Digital category. Their One Version Dataset, underpinned by real-time data in Nervecentre, is significantly improving discharge performance across the Nottinghamshire health and social care system.
The HSJ Digital Awards received a record number of entries this year, reflecting the scale and pace of digital innovation in UK health and care settings.
