We are very proud to announce the successful go-live of our new Patient Administration System (PAS) at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust (UHL). This represents the culmination of years of dedicated innovation and collaborative effort, making it the first entirely new PAS to be developed and deployed within the NHS this century.
The deployment included migrating more than 50 million data points with zero data loss.
The PAS is an integral part of the Nervecentre EPR, bringing everything together in one place. We have witnessed a smooth transition across UHL’s hospitals, which are among the biggest and busiest in the country. Clinical and administrative staff rapidly adopted the new digital administrative workflows that will save time and reduce the volume of paper used each day.
For instance, 14,043 appointments were booked during the first four days of use, when the number of concurrent users peaked at 6,600.
This successful implementation is a testament to the unwavering commitment of our incredible project team, the invaluable partnership with UHL, and the dedication of every individual involved. This achievement sets a new benchmark for digital transformation in healthcare, paving the way for a more integrated, efficient, and patient-centric NHS for decades to come.
Alongside UHL, we are incredibly proud to be at the forefront of this digital revolution.
“The NHS is facing a unique set of challenges, for which digital is an essential tool. Our ability to support NHS trusts in deploying and maximising the benefit of digital just took a huge leap forward.”
